Capital University Theatre presents: CHOCOLAT Cabaret Theater 10/9/2014 8:00:00 PM The tranquility of the tiny French village of Lansquenet is upset when a beautiful stranger opens a chocolate shop across the square from the church, wreaking havoc with the town’s Lenten vows. Enraged, the local priest vows to block the chocolate festival planned for Easter Sunday. The confrontation between those who prefer the comforts of the church and those who revel in their newly discovered taste for pleasure is dramatic, heart-warming, and humorous.
