Crusaders Wrap Up Spring Break Trip With Stellar Results

The Capital baseball team recently completed its spring break trip with a 7-2 record. The Crusaders traveled to Montgomery, Ala., Lagrange, Ga., and Port Charlotte, Fla., and competed against five schools.

Women’s Tennis Concludes Spring Trip

The Capital women’s tennis team recently wrapped up its spring break trip in Orlando, Fla., completing five matches against a variety of non-conference opponents from the Midwest.

Hawkins Earns Academic All-OAC Honor

Capital University senior Shalena Hawkins was named to the Women’s Basketball Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team, the league announced Wednesday, March 7.

Winter, Niekamp Selected Academic All-OAC

Senior Kelly Winter and junior Spencer Niekamp of the Capital University men’s basketball team have been named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference, the league announced Tuesday, March 6.


Softball Concludes Spring Break Trip With Second Straight Split

The Capital University softball team played two games on its last day of the team’s spring break trip Saturday, winning one and losing one at the National Training Center Spring Games in Clermont, Fla.


Crusaders’ Stellar Season Comes to a Close at Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio – The Capital University men’s basketball team saw its championship-winning 2011-12 season come to an end Saturday, falling at No. 15 Wooster 92-79 in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament at Timken Gymnasium.


Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Spring Break Trip 

The Capital University men’s tennis team recently completed its spring break trip in Orlando, Fla., with a 1-5 team record. The Crusaders competed against five schools and compiled a 14-40 cumulative individual match record. The team’s sole victory was a 5-4 win against Hanover (Ind.).
