Bexley police are investigating a reported burglary in the 2300 block of Mound Street, near Capital University's campus. According to a police report, a woman reported a man entered the residence at about 4:30 pm Sunday, May 27, without permission through an unlocked back door and took a purse that was sitting on the dining room chair. The purse contained a driver's license, credit card and an insurance card, according to the report. No one was injured.
The suspect is described a black, heavy-set male in his 30s or 40s with close-cut, graying hair and an unshaven face. If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact Bexley police at 614-559-4444 or Capital police at 614-236-6666.
