Capital University's Safety Bulletin has been updated with information about an alleged robbery that occurred near Capital University Apartments early Sunday morning. Bexley Police are investigating the reported robbery of a male who was sitting in a car parked on the street in front of Capital University Apartments, located in the 2100 block of Astor Avenue in Bexley, at 1:45 am Sunday, November 4. According to police, the alleged victim was approached by a black male wearing a black hoodie and ski mask. The suspect flashed some sort of badge, handcuffed the victim and took his cell phone and cash. The victim was released without harm after the incident. No injuries were reported, and no weapon was displayed.

Police continue to investigate. No arrests have been made.
