Capital University's Safety Bulletin has been updated with information regarding a suspicious person near campus reported Sunday, June 30.

A female Capital student reported she was walking west along East Main Street between College Avenue and Park Drive, in Bexley at about 7:30 pm Sunday, when a man traveling east in a large white pickup truck called to her.

According to the report, the man turned his truck around and followed the student to a nearby parking lot and asked the student if she wanted a ride. The student ran toward a nearby residential area, and the driver took off and left the area.

Police were unable to locate the truck or driver, who is described as a white male in his 30s or 40s, weighing approximately 200 pounds with shoulder-length, curly, sandy-blond hair and a tan. Please call Public Safety at 236-6666 if you have any information about this or any other University safety matter.
