Capital University Safety Bulletin Update: July 8, 2013

Capital University's Safety Bulletin has been updated with information regarding a rape and attempted abduction reported this morning in Downtown Columbus near the Law School.

Columbus Division of Police is investigating a reported rape and attempted abduction at 150 Jefferson Ave. According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 8:45 am. The victim reported being grabbed and taken into the suspect's van where she was raped. The suspect is described as a black male, 35-40 years old, 6 feet tall with a beard, wearing a blue striped shirt and driving a tan minivan with two bench seats in the back. No other information is available at this time and no arrests have been made. No Capital University students or employees are believed to be involved.
