Capital University's Safety Bulletin recently was updated with information regarding a bomb threat at a nearby Bexley business.

Capital police were notified of a reported bomb threat at CVS Pharmacy, located at 2532 E Main St., in Bexley, several blocks east of campus. The call came in about 11:30 am, Thursday, July 24, and the CapAlert emergency notification system was launched within minutes.

Bexley police are investigating and have found the threat was a hoax. The suspect reportedly called the business a second time while investigators were on the scene and demanded money. No bomb was found. No other other information is available at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
