SPECIAL NOTICE: Over the summer of 2012, we will be removing all VHS
players from all of the classrooms on the Bexley campus. If you have VHS tapes that you
would like to use for teaching, our recommended solution is to convert your
class materials to a digital format. We have equipment available in Information Technology to
convert VHS material directly to DVD. Conversion requires some time and
preparation, but may ultimately make your life a whole lot easier. It is legal for
you to make a digital copy of any of your legally-obtained material. To be
safe, we recommend that you retain the original VHS tape.
It is our intention to ultimately end support for classroom
VHS playback, however, our goal is to make this disruptive transition process
as simple and as painless as possible. If you have questions, want to
discuss your options, or have materials you need to convert, please contact us
via email: servicedesk@capital.edu
or telephone: 614-236-6508.
Here is a list of detailed information on the technology available in different classrooms around the campus.
