Administration concentrate students must take the following courses and complete a minimum of 49 semester hours to graduate. Students in this program will be prepared for APRN Clinical Nurse Specialist positions and are eligible to sit for a licensing exam that encompasses prescriptive authority.Applicants for the Clinical Nurse Specialist program will be interviewed by current master’s level faculty as part of the admission process. The purpose of the interview is to familiarize students with the program requirements, discuss clinical requirements and interests, and assist students to plan for success in the program. Expertise of MSN faculty be discussed to familiarize students with departmental clinical and research opportunities.
