    Comments From Former Participants

"Jim Swearingen's "The Complete Band Director Workshop" is a "must attend" for any band director committed to iimproving the quality of their band program. Not only does this workshop provide a great number of ideas and helpful tips, but the passion and enthusiasm of the outstanding clinicians will inspire you to become a better educator." -- Joe Burke, Hilliard Heritage Middle School, Hilliard, Ohio

"The Complete Band Director Workshop continues to be the finest, most relevant gathering of its kind. In this new era of licensure, continuing education credits and IPDPs, this workshop offers the perfect opportunity to remain current and effective, both in the classroom and in performance." -- Jim Dowdy, Capital University Junior Winds, Columbus, Ohio

"In 12 years of teaching, I never have attended a conference with the mixture of education, good fellowship and just plain fun than The Complete Band Director Workshop! Being from out of state, I have gained new insight into many facets of the 'music education experience.' If you miss this, you really have missed a great experience! Sometimes band directors feel like they're alone in the world. This workshop makes you feel like a member of the family." -- Lee Ann Lykens, Liberty (Raleigh) High School, Glen Daniel, W. Va.

"The complete workshop!! Tremendous clinicians, great handouts and all areas covered. This workshop renewed my beliefs in striving for a balanced program and for putting our students, and the experiences we can present, at the focal point of our teaching." -- Elmer Broecker, West Jefferson High School, West Jefferson, Ohio.
