Capital University offers the central Ohio business community the opportunity to connect with the best and brightest students and faculty in central Ohio. By offering our students well-rounded experiences, we have created a culture of civic engagement and workforce readiness that is well respected. More than 90% of our students come from Ohio and more than 75% remain in central Ohio to live and work.

Through our connection with Ohio businesses, Capital develops partnerships that:

    1. Provide a well-educated Ohio workforce prepared for the future.
    2. Continually seek internship opportunities for our students, both paid and unpaid.
    3. Provide a community volunteer force through our civic engagement activities.
    4. Provide a strong cadre of faculty and students for exciting research opportunities.

    President’s Advisory Board

President Bowman has invited business and community leaders to advise him on a variety of issues including corporate and foundation relations connections.

    Foundation Relations

Capital’s goal is to identify and build relationships with local and national foundations that will provide funding for the programs and other critical needs of the university. We seek to understand and articulate the goals of the university to foundations that have matching funding priorities.
