Master of Arts in Education Curriculum
  • Teachers are busy professionals. The Master of Arts in Education program is designed with your schedule in mind. Education courses are taught in a hybrid format - with six face-to-face sessions on campus and the remaining work completed as online learning experiences. Plus, you’ll have the added benefit of your own graduate faculty adviser to help you throughout the program. Take a look at the courses required to complete the Master of Arts in Education.

    Flexible Delivery

    • Complete the program at your own pace
    • Three start terms per year: August, January or May
    • Variety of classes offered each trimester
    • Fast-track (non-TESOL) offers option of completing program in a little more than a year

    Optional TESOL Endorsement

    • Endorsement completion in one year
    • Four courses and 5-hour practicum
    • Experienced TESOL faculty
    • Ohio Department of Education approval

    Program Completion Requirements

    • Minimum 36 credit hours
    • Individualized applied research project or thesis
    • Aligned with National Board Certification requirements and the Ohio Master Teacher framework
