    • Happening tonight: Take Back the Yak

      Girl on Smart Phone Co-hosted by the offices of Diversity and Inclusion, Residential and Commuting Life, and the Student and Community Engagement Office, Take Back the Yak will be a peer-to-peer conversation about the impact (positive and negative) that social media can have on a campus community. The event will take place at 7 pm Thursday, March 26, in Weiler Conference Suites, located in the Harry C. Moores Student Union.

      Students, come and have honest and thoughtful conversations about the impact of social media chatter, especially chatter protected by anonymity like on the social media site Yik Yak. Find out about resources and support available to you, learn how to resist and combat negative and harmful behavior on social media. And leave empowered to create the change you seek through our brief bystander intervention exercise.
