Blackmore Library /
OneSearch is a one-stop search interface that displays results from the Classic Catalog, OhioLINK, and many of the Blackmore Library databases.OneSearch does NOT replace access to the research resources individually — you can continue to access them within their original search interfaces by using the Find Articles link or the Classic Catalog.
Print and electronic books, DVDs, streaming videos, CDs, scores, full text articles, abstracts and citations from databases to which we do not subscribe.
OneSearch is a good starting point for your research. It can be used when you are looking for a variety of resources on a topic or when you are searching for a subject that's harder to find. It is great for discovery and exploration of a topic!
Enter your keywords into the search box on the Library's webpage or go to http://onesearch.capital.edu. You will get LOTS of results! Don't be scared!Use the limiters on the left sidebar to focus your results by date range, full text, or specific collections.
If you do not see a PDF or HTML full text link, use the "Search for Full Text" link to search for full text in another database. If you are unable to connect to full text or request an item from OhioLINK, use the InterLibrary Loan form.
Remember ...OneSearch does not cover all the databases to which the Library subscribes. Certain databases are not indexed within OneSearch so you should always search them separately. Learning Express Library, MathSciNet, and the ProQuest databases are a few of the databases that are not included in OneSearch. If you need help, contact the Reference Desk for assistance at (614) 236-6351 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
