  • Bibliographies just got a whole lot easier.

Blackmore Library is pleased to announce the addition of RefWorks to our collection of electronic resources to help students and faculty manage their reference resources. RefWorks is a web-based reference management service that is provided at no charge to all Capital University students and faculty.

What Can You Do with RefWorks?

    • Create a personal database of references online and store an unlimited number of records accessible from any computer linked to the Internet.
    • Import reference search results with the click of a button from a wide variety of databases into RefWorks.
    • Organize and manage references by sorting into folders.
    • Share reference lists by collaborating with members of the Capital University community.
    • Format bibliographies and papers in seconds by exporting reference lists in APA, MLA, or may other reference citation styles.

You can access RefWorks through the Find Articles link on the Library’s website. First-time users will be asked to create a new account with a personal username and password. For more information and online tutorials, please see our RefWorks LibGuide.

To support this new service, we offer assistance at the Blackmore Library Reference Desk in person, by phone at 614-236-6351, and by email at refdesk@capital.edu. More advanced, in-person tutorials are available to groups and individuals by appointment. Contact Tina Valerius, Web Reference Librarian, at 236-6993 or cvaleriu@capital.edu to set up an appointment.
