You may have a Special Circumstance which could affect your ability to contribute toward your academic expenses.
The purpose of the Special Circumstance form is to inform us of unusual or extraordinary information that is not included on your FAFSA form. The Department of Education permits college financial aid offices to make adjustments to your FAFSA results for certain circumstances.
Please contact the Financial Aid Office if you have other unusual circumstances that might affect your ability to contribute toward educational costs that were not listed below.
Requesting Special Circumstances
All forms are in PDF format and require the free Adobe Acrobat reader.
- Print and complete a Verification Worksheet (please include all documents requested on worksheet)
- Download and complete the Special Circumstances Form (PDF). Please provide all information pertaining to your income and resources.
When the requested documentation is received Capital will complete the Federal Verification review and make any necessary adjustments for your Special Circumstance. The student will receive a Financial Aid Award indicating the Special Circumstance review has been completed.
