    Are you watching what you eat? At Capital's Dining Services, you'll find foods you can eat without sacrificing taste

    Vegetarian Diet

    Tofu and hummus are always available at lunch and dinner along with our wide variety of fresh fruits, veggies, and entrees.

    Diabetic Diet

    We offer sugar-free and low-calorie options every day, clearly marked for your convenience.

    Low-Cholesterol Diet

    Our Soup and Showcase Salads food stations feature low-cholesterol choices. Just look for the signs.

    Gluten Free Options

    Gluten free foods are labeled in the Main Dining Room for your convenience. We have GF options at every station and we are always thinking about different ways to incorporate more of these options into your daily selections.

    Whole Body Cuisine: A Program for Healthier Eating

    When you're always on the go, it's hard to make wise food choices and stick to your weight-loss goals. That's why we created Whole Body Cuisine.

    The meals in this program are varied, tasty and well-balanced, with controlled levels of fat, calories and sodium. Whole Body Cuisine makes it easier to:

    • Maintain a healthy body weight (especially when combined with regular exercise)
    • Keep your total fat intake at or below 30% of your daily calories
    • Reduce the total number of calories you consume
    • Limit the amount of cholesterol in your diet
    • Balance your diet over the course of a day or week so you can still find a place for your favorite foods
    • Avoid highly processed or refined foods
    • Trim portion sizes and overall consumption of meats, poultry, eggs and whole-milk cheeses
    • Eat a greater variety of fruits, vegetables and starchy foods to ensure adequate levels of vitamins, minerals and fiber
    • Our Whole Body station is always Gluten Free!


    We serve one Whole Body Cuisine entrée and one vegetable at every meal (breakfast excluded). Look for our signs at The Main Event food station, and get started on the road to healthy eating!
