We are excited about your participation in the Summer 2013 Orientation program and have designed a program to:
Summer Orientation is mandatory for all new students and the sessions are designed to help you successfully transition to the University. The summer orientation program is free to students and their first two guests, but there is a charge of $30.00 for each additional guest/parent. Fees for any additional guests are due the morning of Orientation registration. These fees are payable by cash or check only. You will be receiving information about an online Math Placement exam. You will need to complete this exam prior to attending your orientation session since it will be used to assign you to the appropriate math class. All students will also need to complete an online Modern Languages Assessment exam. Information about this exam will be sent with your confirmation email.
Orientation days start as early as 8 am for those who need to take a placement exam, but will end by 5 pm for everyone. Please plan accordingly so you will be able to get the most out of your visit. There is a separate program for parents and guardians to answer their questions and help with the transition of their students. Please choose the date that works best for you:
You can register for Summer Orientation online. Please email the orientation office at orientation@capital.edu if you need to make changes after your initial registration. Please contact the orientation office at orientation@capital.edu or 614-236-6901 if you cannot make one of these sessions.
