Transferring to Capital is a smooth process when you follow these steps:Step 1: Review the admission requirements for transfer students.Step 2: Apply online for admission to Capital.Apply by May 1 to be considered for all possible scholarships, including our Transfer Fellowship Full Tuition Scholarship. Priority deadline to apply is August 1 for fall or December 1 for spring. Nursing students, you'll need to apply by March.Step 3: Wait for your acceptance. We'll let you know what we decide two weeks after we get your application.Step 4: Understand your transfer credits. Once you’re accepted, your college transcript will be reviewed for transfer course equivalency. You will receive a copy of the degree audit once the courses have been reviewed.
Step 5: Meet with your adviser. A faculty adviser will determine how the courses apply to the degree, so you should contact the Admission Office to schedule a meeting with a faculty adviser to find out how your major classes transfer and how long it will take to complete your degree.
