Scholarship, On Campus and Off

  • Capital is committed to hands-on learning and primary research at the undergraduate level. Capital students are frequently chosen to present their findings at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR).

  • In the School of Nursing, a projected 95 percent of the class of 2005 passed the registered nurses’ licensure exam (NCLEX) on their first attempt. This is well above the national average of 84 percent.

  • Capital organizes the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Learning, a day of workshops and special events aimed at promoting diversity and lifelong learning. All events are open to students and the wider community.
