Pay Rate: $8.15
-Assist Operations Manager with the setup of meetings, events and conferences, including installations and removal of tables, chairs, and A/V equipment. -Monitor conferences and events, troubleshoot and resolve technical and non technical issues that may arise during the event. -Provide assistance to clients during event ensuring that all needs are met. -Assist Operations Manager with maintenance and tracking of equipment and supplies. -Attend and participate in all M.E.S. staff meetings, training sessions, and workshop opportunities. -Work mandatory dates/events: Commencements, Alumni and Homecoming Weekend. -Perform other duties as assigned.
-Have excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on customer service. -Be reliable, punctual, flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks as requested by M.E.S. and Dining Services team members. -Be detail oriented, with good problem-solving and decision-making skills. -Be familiar with Capital campus. -Have a neat appearance. -Be available to work evening and weekend hours. -Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
