If you are a master's-prepared nurse and are looking to
broaden your career opportunities, Capital University's post-master's
certificate program is for you. It has been designed to prepare advanced nurses for teaching
positions in collegiate and health care settings.
- Four semesters in length (16 months)
- Part-time study; two course per semester
The program gives you the essential knowledge and skills you
need to succeed in:
- Classroom and clinical instruction Curriculum development
- Student evaluation
- Use of technology in education
You can specialize in collegiate education, staff
development, or continuing education. Learning experiences include both theory
and concept development as well as praxis in teaching.
Curriculum
The program curriculum consists of seven graduate-level
courses for a total of 21 semester credits, and last for 16 months.
