    • Biography

      Heather began her nursing academic career at Capital University in 1995. Although her initial clinical specialization is the nursing care of infants/children and their families, she has experience teaching nursing research/evidence-based practice, senior practicum concepts, growth and development, fundamentals, teaching strategies, evaluation: individual to program, clinical and laboratory teaching, and healing modalities.

      She is currently the Associate Dean of the Graduate Nursing program and oversees both the Masters of Science in Nursing and Executive Leadership Doctor of Nursing Practice programs.
