    • Biography

      Dr. Jim Wightman joined the faculty at Capital University in 2008, after having spent 30 years in public education, the last 23 years as a principal at the elementary and middle school levels. He is the current chair of the Education Department, and co-chairs the Graduate Program Committee. Dr. Wightman is also the President of the Ohio Association of Private Colleges of Teacher Education and the President of the Ohio Association of Teacher Educators. Additionally, he serves on the Advocacy Committee of the Ohio Association of Colleges of Teacher Education.
