Sharon Stohrer has taught voice and related areas such as acting and stagecraft, lyric diction and vocal pedagogy for Capital University, Kenyon College, New York University, the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, Newberry and Anderson colleges in South Carolina; and Keene State College in New Hampshire.Her students have won numerous competitions, scholarships and fellowships for graduate study and several are pursuing careers in performance. She has directed programs of opera scenes and offered master classes on various topics.Ms. Stohrer recently gave a national webinar on Overcoming Performance Anxiety for SNATS -- the student branch of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She has given workshops on the topic for numerous schools and organizations, including the NATS 50th national conference and the New York State Schools of Music Association Convention.
