Just as you challenge your students to fully realize their potential, Capital’s MAEd Teaching Concentration will expand your potential to connect with your students, help them grow, and brighten their futures. Designed to make you more effective in the classroom from day one, this program offers a blend of theory and practice. You’ll absorb the latest research and how to apply it, new ways to reach your students, insight into today’s most effective teaching technologies, and a rich understanding of cultural norms and diversity and how they impact your students’ lives, learning outcomes and behavior. With guidance from your graduate faculty adviser, you’ll design a Capstone Research Project focusing on a subject area of interest to you. The program includes cross-curricular training of Capital MBA courses, allowing you to earn a well-rounded degree and become a better teacher and leader. Our master’s degree in teaching meets the National Board Certification requirements and aligns with the Ohio Master Teacher Framework.
