Eric Anderson
DIRECTOR
Eric works with students on major & career planning, internship & job preparation, and the graduate & professional school application process. He also serves as an advisor for Undeclared students, and works closely with faculty to deliver a broad range of classroom presentations on a variety of career topics.
Eric’s articles and conference presentations include “Practical Exercises for Understanding Vocational Fit” (2017), “Free Will, Choice, and Discovery on the Career Voyage” (2015), “A Practical 'Happenstance' or 'Voyage' Exercise” (2014), “Stop Saying Career “Path”!” (2013) and “The future is actually behind us: why chaos and happenstance theories are counterintuitive” (2012).
Jennifer Vrobel
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Jennifer works with students on career planning and internship/job preparation, manages our Peer Career Advisors, and serves as the lead administrator for Capital’s job board. She also works with employers who are seeking Capital students and alumni, and coordinates Capital’s participation in annual career fairs.
Jennifer works closely with student organizations on career development presentations, including how to write a resume/cover letter, risk management & social media, career fair workshops, and interview skills, as well as specialized presentations like "Career Developmentopoly" (an interactive career quiz), and "A League of Her Own" (a discussion of discrimination and bias that womxn face in school, workforce, and leadership positions). She is a former board member of the Ohio College Personnel Association (OCPA) and chaired the Careers in Student Affairs Conference in 2019 Capital.

Joyce
Joyce is a junior English Literature and Psychology major. She is also a receptionist for Academic Success. After graduation, she plans to attend an institute of mortuary science and pursue a career as a Funeral Director.
Keenan
Keenan is a senior who is majoring in Criminology and Sociology. He is also minoring in psychology. This will be his first year as a Peer Career Advisor. He is the secretary for the Ebony Brotherhood Association, serves as the Community Service Chair for the Global Student Association, and is a mentor for the Smooth Transitions program. He also studied abroad in Nairobi, Kenya in the Fall of 2019. After graduating, he is considering enrolling in AmeriCorps for a year of service and then enrolling in graduate school.
Lauryn
Lauryn is a senior public relations major with a minor in marketing. She works for The Chimes as their social media manager. Right now, Lauryn is working on developing a website for her custom-made crochet wear. After graduation, she would like to pursue a career in fashion PR or brand communications.
MacKenzie
MacKenzie is a junior Financial Economics major with an Entrepreneurship minor. She is a member of Capital’s women’s volleyball team and holds the public relations role of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Additionally, MacKenzie is a member of Delta Sigma Pi and serves as the Vice President of Finance for Student Government. After graduation, she plans to continue the family business, Langephotographics, where she will take school, sports, and dance photographs with the goal to expand it nationally.
Nick
Nick is a senior who is majoring in Business Management and minoring in Marketing. He is also on The Executive Committee of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, as well as being a part of the Capital Men's Lacrosse team. He is excited to step out into the business world, however he is not wishing away his final year as an undergraduate.
Willow
Willow is a second-year Honors student with a double major in Psychology and Biology. She is a member of the Students for the Advancement of Afrikan American Culture (SAAAC) and the Capital Track and Field and Cross Country team. She is also an Academic Success Peer Tutor and a Smooth Transitions Peer Mentor. After graduation, she plans on attending medical school.
