    Summer 2020 Dates: June 8-12

This summer, you don’t have to be stuck because of COVID-19. Instead, you can be inspired. Join us for Capital’s 2020 Sustain the Flame.

Every weekday from June 8th-12th, Trinity Lutheran Seminary and Capital University’s Center for Faith and Learning are featuring conversations between some of our best faculty and experts from across the church that explores discovering, discerning, developing, and deciding the next steps in your journey with God. Each day at Noon Eastern Standard Time, you can watch them live on https://www.facebook.com/KernsRLC/, as well as interact with the hosts in the comments. Hosted by Pastor Drew Tucker, University Pastor and Director for the Center for Faith and Learning, and Ms. Gabrielle Saunders-Hudecek, Assistant Director of Admission, they convene these conversations to help you better comprehend where God’s at work in your life now and what steps you’re empowered to take next.

    Our guests will include:

    • Rev. Dr. Kit Kleinhans, Dean of Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University

They’re going to help you understand that word vocation, which pretty much only appears in universities, churches, and vocational schools, and that you have meaningful, life-giving work for the world that’s suited to your identity, even if you don’t know what you want to do yet, and even if you’re still figuring out who you are. There will even be a live chat option to ask questions of the hosts so you can get answers to your specific questions and allow us to address your particular needs.

Join us for this engaging, conversational experience. We’re excited to be a part of your journey!

Watch for information about SPARK and IGNITE, additional fun and meaningful opportunities for youth groups to explore their faith through Capital University and Trinity Lutheran Seminary!
