The University has made the difficult decision to postpone our May 2020 Commencement celebration. Commencement is the culminating event in the life of the University, and it is an important event for graduates, as well as their families and friends, recognizing their hard work, success and achievement. We will continue to monitor the public health situation in the weeks ahead and work to schedule a time to celebrate this important milestone with students, their friends and family. Upon completion of credits, students will still earn their degree on time, and diplomas will be issued in May.
As we continue to receive guidance from Franklin County Public Health, Ohio Department of Public Health, and the CDC, we will keep you updated on the commencement ceremony and plans for rescheduling at capital.edu/coronavirus.
