  • The Office of Student and Community Engagement is one of the busiest places on campus. No matter what your interests are, the SCE is able to help you get involved and find your niche on campus. Whether it’s planning an annual event, joining a fraternity or sorority, starting your own student organization, being an Orientation Leader, or making a difference in your community through service, we have numerous ways for you to maximize your experience at Capital.

    Our office is home to:

    The SCE is located on the first floor of the Harry C. Moores Student Union, right across from the bookstore. If you have questions, need a place to do some work, or hang out with friends, stop by! We are open Monday- Friday 8:30 am-5 pm and you’ll regularly see us at events and programs in the evenings and on the weekends.

    SCE Mission Statement

    The Office of Student and Community Engagement provides an inclusive environment for growth and development through extra and co-curricular learning experiences, both on campus and in the community, for all students. By providing a place to be and do, the SCE helps students find their home at Capital.
