Capital University students have several opportunities for study-abroad programs.
Can’t spare much time but still want the study abroad experience? Each year, our faculty members lead students on short overseas programs related to various areas of study. Recent professor lead oversea programs for our students were to the Bahamas, Canada, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Germany, Greece, Italy and Turkey. To learn what short programs are available this year, contact the specific academic department.
You may also apply for direct enrollment at a foreign institution or for other selected programs. Contact the Study Abroad Department for more information. The program must:
- meet the academic and cultural objectives outlined in your Overseas Study Goal Statement Worksheet
- offer support at the program site to handle problems
- have a strong safety record
- meet accreditation standards so you can earn university-level credit
