Integrated Marketing Communications


This role will provide a student with opportunities for planning, writing, and assisting in production of University marketing materials. The IMC team works closely with the Office of Admission to create tools and communication for prospective students. Additional marketing projects for other university departments may also be a part of this role.


Writing Assistant. This position will provide a significant opportunity for you to sharpen your writing skills by contributing content for tools and communication aimed at prospective college students and their families. This will require that you think and write with the interests of high school students and parents in mind; presenting information that is important to them and information that reflects the mission of the University. Photography and Asset Collection. This position may be asked to support IMC staff by organizing photos and videos into libraries for marketing purposes. Support a photo/video audit of current assets and provide recommendations to IMC staff for needed assets. Idea Generation – Participate in discussions about marketing strategy that focuses on the college enrollment funnel. The enrollment funnel moves from generating general awareness of Capital University to increasing campus experiences and counselor engagement, and finally to conversion and enrollment.
