Description
The School of Education Social Media Intern will collaborate closely with faculty and student organizations to create, modify, and maintain social media platform content that will inform various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Create, modify, and maintain social media channels — such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc. -- as well as Capital University social media platforms such as CORQ and Engage, etc. Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of an editorial calendar and curate original content for distribution across social media platforms.
Qualifications
Students applying for this position should be resourceful, tech-savvy and adept with social media. They must know and use a variety of social media channels — such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc. The student should be familiar with Capital University social media platforms such as CORQ and Engage, etc. They must have strong writing and editing skills, as well as an ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Video and photography skills are a plus. The student should have a good understanding of how to communicate with different stakeholders (prospective students/parents, current students/parents, alumni, community, etc.)
