Host The Host position is the best way to get involved in the Admission Office. Hosts primarily work large events like Open House and Distinguished Scholarship Competitions. Duties include but are not limited to managing registration tables, escorting visitors across campus, mingling with visitors in down time and at lunch, directing families across campus, serving on student panels, hosting prospective students overnight, and placing and collecting yard/parking signs. The position of Academic Technology Assistant performs many diverse duties at Capital University. This position will assist with duties surrounding technologies such as iLearn, Echo360, AdobeConnect, TurningPoint Clickers, Turnitin.com, and new technologies as they are implemented. While this position will be housed in the CELT office there will be significant duties that will be performed outside of the office including making scheduled rounds in faculty office buildings. CELT

Ambassador Ambassadors spend the most amount of time interacting with visiting families. In addition to Host duties like managing registration tables, hosting prospective students overnight, escorting visitors across campus, mingling with visitors in down time and at lunch, directing families across campus, and placing and collecting yard/parking signs, Ambassadors give tours during the week as needed and during large events.
