    The best way for you to determine if Capital has what you need and want in a university is to visit campus personally. Meet one-on-one with an admission counselor, talk to a professor, meet other students, sit in class, see the campus and talk about where you are today and where you want to go.

    Graduate and Seminary Students

     Adult-VisitIf you’re ready to advance your career, our graduate programs will give you the advantage and the network you’re looking for. Choose your program from the list below to find an upcoming information session.


    Capital offers you several visit options, and many students try them all. Before deciding which is right for you, consider what each option offers:

    • Personalized Visits are designed for high school students and parents. During your visit, you can meet with an admission counselor, talk to a professor, meet other students, sit in on a class, and see the campus. Personalized Visits are offered on weekdays.
    • Campus Visits are designed for any first-time college student. This option offers a tour of campus and a presentation to answer questions about the admission process and financial aid. Campus Visits are offered on weekdays and select Saturdays.
    • Transfer / Adult Visits are designed for any student who plans to transfer credit from another school, complete a bachelor's degree, or take evening courses. These visits consist of a meeting with an admission counselor, along with an optional tour and/or meeting with a faculty member. Transfer / Adult Visits are offered on weekdays and select Saturdays.
    • Preview Days are a great introduction for anyone interested in learning about Capital. Preview Days give you a chance to speak with professors and students about what life and learning at Capital. 
    Other Considerations:
    • Do you plan to stay overnight in the Columbus area? It’s a great option if you want to combine your visit with a local or regional event or attraction. You’ll find our campus event list here — and lots of info on things to do, local eateries, and hotels in Columbus and Bexley here.
    • Do you want a guided tour or would you prefer to go it alone? You’ll need to schedule a guided tour but are welcome to campus anytime.
    • Do you want to sit in a class, meet with students, talk to a professor, or discuss financial aid with an admission counselor? A Personalized Visit or our annual Spring Preview Day would be right for you.
    • Can’t decide? We know it’s a lot to take in. So, if you still have questions about our visits, please call one of our admissions counselors at 866-544-6175 and get the answers you need to make the most of your visit.


    Centrally located, Capital is a relatively short drive from all parts of Ohio and surrounding states. There’s free parking once you get here, lots to see and do during your stay, and a welcoming atmosphere once you arrive.

    When parking places are not available in the visitor parking lots, visitors may park in any campus lot with a valid visitor permit.
