MSN Fast Track for RN's with an Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Criteria for Entry into MSN Fast Track

1. Admission to BSN-completion program (Download a BSN-completion application.)
2. Credit for N315 and N402 with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better
3. Advisor recommendation

MSN Fast Track

1. Up to 3 of the following graduate

courses (9 semester hours) may be
taken while finishing the BSN program:
• N500 - Advanced Statistics
• N510 - Nursing Theories
• N520 - Nursing Research
• N530 - Nursing Informatics
   
2. Undergraduate credit is given as follows:
• N500 - Statistics (Psych 210 or Math 211 or Math 215)
• N510 - Elective Credit
• N520 - Nursing Research (N409)
• N530 - Elective Credit
   
3. Upon admission to the graduate program, all N500 level courses transfer for graduate credit.

Admission Criteria for the MSN Program

1. Completion of a BSN program
2. Current Ohio RN licensure
3. Minimum overall 3.0 GPA in graduate courses and a minimum of B in each graduate course
4. Writing sample
5. Resume
6. Completed application
7. Three professional references
