THABOUNE, SHEILS NAMED TO OAC ALL-ACADEMIC SOCCER HONORSAUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Capital University soccer players Josh Thaboune and Molly Sheils were each named to the Ohio Athletic Conference All-Academic teams for men’s and women’s soccer respectively on Wednesday following a vote conducted amongst the Senior Woman Administrators from OAC member schools.

HOSTETLER, THABOUNE HONORED BY OACAUSTINTOWN, Ohio – A pair of Capital University student-athletes were named as OAC Players of the Week in their respective sports on Monday. Junior middle blocker Allison Hostetler (Dalton, Ohio/Dalton HS) earned honors on the volleyball side while junior midfielder Josh Thaboune (Bexley, Ohio/Bexley HS) was the men’s soccer honoree.

McCARTHY TABBED AS OAC MEN’S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEKAUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Junior forward Steven McCarthy (Centerville, Ohio/Archbishop Alter HS) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday after leading Capital to a 6-1 win over Franklin this past week.

The Crusader men's season opener was postponed due to lightning at Thomas More on Friday. No makeup date has been announced. CU will play host to Franklin (Ind.) on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.
Capital's men's soccer team won the OAC title for the third time in school history and first since 1989.
