Biography

Joy Longfellow is a Capital University graduate and has been teaching (full-time or part-time) in the Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics Department at Capital since 1990. Her interests are in the history of mathematics, mathematics teaching and learning, and helping all students succeed in mathematics. She is the recipient of the 2020 Capital University Part-time Faculty Award and the 1999 Central Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics (COCTM) Outstanding Post-Secondary Mathematics Teacher Award.
