Biography

Susan Massarelli graduated from Capital University in 1982 with a degree in Mathematics Education. She started her teaching career in the Strongsville School System at Albion Junior High. After two years, she moved back to Central Ohio and taught for 12 years in the Big Walnut school district. She taught high school mathematics at all levels and computer science courses.

In 1998, she decided to leave teaching to stay home with her daughter for 5 years. In 2003, she returned to teaching in the Southwest Licking School District. She taught math and science at Watkin's high school for 5 years. She also travelled to the middle school to teach Algebra 1 to eighth graders. In 2008, she transferred fulltime to Watkin's middle school. She retired from teaching in May of 2015.
