In recent years, four out of five undergraduate international students have received scholarships. The average award has been about 30-40% of tuition. Scholarships are renewable from year to year as long as students maintain the required minimum grade point average. Scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of superior prior academic or school performance. Financial need is a secondary consideration.
A completed scholarship application form (PDF) should be submitted along with the required essays and a complete application for undergraduate admission. There is no deadline but applicants are encouraged to apply early while the maximum numbers of scholarships are still available. This scholarship is not available for the ESL program.
The Aya Ueki International Student Scholarship is offered every year to any full-time international student who has completed at least one term at CapitalUniversity. Students must submit their application and faculty/staff nomination (PDF ) (DOC ) by the first Monday in April.
The LewerMark Scholarship is an essay writing contest offered by Capital's international student health insurance provider. All current domestic and international Capital students are elligible to compete. Awards are in the amount of $1,000, $750, and $500.
