    First-Year Undergraduate International Student Scholarships

    99% of first-year, full-time undergraduate international students receive some type of achievement-based financial assistance. Last year, the average amount totaled more than $17,000 renewable.

    COLLEGIATE FELLOWSHIP
    Full-tuition

    Competitive scholarship (by invitation only) awarded to selected high school seniors with at least a 28 ACT composite or a 1250 SAT math/verbal total (not including the writing portions of either test). Apply to Capital by Dec. 1 of your senior year to be invited. This full-tuition award is based on an essay and group conversation interview. This tuition-based award is renewable if you are enrolled as a full-time student, your cumulative GPA is 3.00 or higher and live in the residence halls. Awards are made for a maximum of eight fall and spring semesters (four years) to students seeking their first undergraduate degree.

    INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
    $6,000 - $23,000

    Award based on academic performance and standardized test scores. This tuition-based award is renewable if you are enrolled as a full-time student and your cumulative GPA is 2.00 or higher. Awards are made for a maximum of eight fall and spring semesters (four years) to students seeking their first undergraduate degree.

    MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP
    $1,500 - $3,500

    Awarded to traditional undergraduate full-time Conservatory of Music majors on the basis of academic record and musical performance with the primary instrument. This tuition-based award is renewable if you are enrolled as a full-time student, your cumulative GPA is 2.00 or higher and you stay within your intended academic plan. Awards are made for a maximum of eight fall and spring semesters (four years) to students seeking their first undergraduate degree.

    MUSIC GRANT
    $500 - $1,000

    Award based on academic performance and standardized test scores. This tuition-based award is renewable if you are enrolled as a full-time student and your cumulative GPA is 2.00 or higher. Awards are made for a maximum of eight fall and spring semesters (four years) to students seeking their first undergraduate degree.

    Transfer Undergraduate International Student Scholarships

    99% of transfer, full-time undergraduate international students (students seeking the first undergraduate degree) receive some type of achievement-based financial assistance based on the college transfer GPA and overall student profile. Last year, Capital offered awards up to $13,500 for qualified transfers. We also work with the Phi Theta Kappa honors society and offer half-tuition to transfers that are active PTK members and have a minimum of 15 transferrable credit hours. Lastly, we have a competitive full-tuition Transfer Fellowship scholarship competition by invitation only for transfers with a 3.5 or higher college GPA.
