    This post-licensure, interdisciplinary degree helps prepare students for increasing complexities in the world of health care through a unique program of study that includes diverse subject matter.

    Capital University's master of science in nursing program prepares students for the complexities of health care in the 21st century by weaving the academic disciplines of nursing, law, management and pastoral care into a unique educational program.

    Capital graduates are leaders at the interdisciplinary frontier of health care. Our graduate program:

     

    • Builds on the undergraduate competencies with a graduate core curriculum.
    • Extends the planning and delivery of interdisciplinary education.
    • Provides opportunity for interdisciplinary learning with graduate students in business administration, law and seminary programs within a service-learning context.
    • Prepares nurses for mid- and upper-level practice and leadership positions in acute, chronic and community-based health care systems.
    • Offers course work to business administration, law and seminary students who elect a focus in health care systems.

    Post-Master's Certificate in Nursing Education
    RN to MSN Fast Track for registered nurses with an associate’s or diploma in nursing, or a bachelor’s degree in another discipline.

    Financial Assistance for MSN Students

    The Nursing Faculty Loan Program helps both full-time and part-time graduate students who are in the education concentration repay their loans.
