Eligibility: Must be the spouse of active duty members of the U.S air force, national guard, or air force reserve. Must be accepted or enrolled at an accredited university and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Financial Need Scholars

Purpose: to assist undergraduate and graduate students who have overcome hardship to achieve educational goals.
Eligibility: Must be studying full time at the sophomore level or higher at an accredited university. GPA must be 3.0 or higher. Must demonstrate leadership, volunteer, civic or academic service.

Americorps Vista

Purpose: to provide education assistance in exchange for community service
Eligibility: Must be at least 17 years old. Must be available to serve full-time for one year at a nonprofit organization or local government agency with an objective that may include fighting illiteracy, improving health services, creating businesses or strengthening community groups.

Copyright Awareness Scholarship

Purpose: To support students interested in educating their peers via video about the laws surrounding intellectual property and copyright. Eligibility: Must be legal residents of the U.S and be currently enrolled at a university in the U.S. Must be between 13-25 years of age. A video submission that accurately illustrates the applicant’s viewpoint of the importance of intellectual property and copyright law is required. Selection is based on the overall quality of the video submission.

Eligibility: Must be undergraduate or graduate students who participate in the progressive movement, acting in the interests of issues such as expansion of civil rights and international solidarity, as well as a solid academic record.
