Your athletic donations go directly to support Capital’s 18 intercollegiate teams and help develop student-athlete graduates who are critical thinkers and inspirational leaders, fully prepared for lives of service to their families, communities, and society.
Capital University teams are members of the Ohio Athletic Conference and are sanctioned by NCAA Division III. Athletics is housed in The Capital Center, a 126,000 square-foot recreational and athletic complex that includes the 3,000-seat Bernlohr Stadium and a 2,100-seat arena.

Giving to Capital Athletics
If you’d like to designate your gift to specific area of athletics, use the following fund names or codes when completing your online gift or sending in your donation.
- Athletics General (401) – A broad athletic department expense fund, dispersed at the discretion of the Athletic Director.
- Alumni Varsity C (400) - Varsity C is an association of Capital athletic supporters dedicated to bettering the experience of being a student-athlete at the university. Money raised by Varsity C provides funding for team activities, travel, equipment and other athletic department initiatives.
