BEXLEY, Ohio – Sept. 22, 2026 – For the fifth consecutive year, Capital University has earned recognition in the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings. In the 2027 rankings, Capital earned multiple distinctions, including a place among the top 50 Regional Universities in the Midwest and recognition as one of the region’s leading institutions for value.
Capital is ranked No. 49 among Regional Universities in the Midwest, No. 39 among private Regional Universities in the Midwest, and No. 31 for Best Value among Regional Universities in the Midwest. The 2027 U.S. News Best Colleges rankings evaluate more than 1,700 colleges and universities across the country using measures of academic quality and graduate success.

U.S. News publishes its Best Colleges rankings annually to help prospective students and families compare undergraduate programs across the country. The rankings, first published in 1983, incorporate measures including graduation rates and post-graduate earnings.
