BEXLEY, Ohio — On Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, Capital University will welcome Jodi Kantor, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter and best-selling author, as the featured speaker in its annual Gerhold Lecture Series in the Humanities.

Wednesday, Oct. 21
7:30 p.m.

Kantor is a best-selling author whose work reveals hidden truths about power, law, gender, technology and culture. She has been the recipient of many awards and honors, including inclusion in Time Magazine's list of 100 most-influential people of the year. A reporter for The New York Times, Kantor joined the newspaper's Supreme Court team, working to shed light on one of this country's most critical, powerful and least-understood institutions.
“Having Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Jodi Kantor at Capital gives our students and the broader Columbus community a rare opportunity to hear directly from someone whose work has had a profound impact,” said Capital University Provost Keirsten Moore. “Through her groundbreaking investigative journalism, Jodi invites us to consider the importance of pursuing truth, the work we are called to do, and how that work can contribute to the lives of others. Those questions of vocation and purpose are central to a Capital education.”
Kantor is best known for her book “She Said,” which exposed sexual abuse against women by Harvey Weinstein. In addition to the lecture, Capital University will host a free screening of “She Said,” the movie that was based on Kantor’s book.
