    Join Capital University’s renowned faculty, industry professionals, student-led WXCU Radio, CapTV, the student chapter of the AES (Audio Engineering Society), and WAAM (Women in Audio and Music) for a free and exciting afternoon of workshops and presentations in the new Convergent Media Center at Capital. Whether you’re new to music production, visual media and storytelling, or have been in the industry for years, the Creative Arts Workshops will have something for everyone. Mix and match your sessions.

       Kim Rosen

      Kim Rosen, Grammy Award Winning Mastering Engineer

      Kim Rosen is a Grammy® Award Winning Mastering engineer based out of New Jersey at her own Knack Mastering facility. After working her way up to staff mastering engineer at West West Side in 2009, Kim moved into her own space and has worked with hundreds of the music industry's top artists, including Aimee Mann, Bonnie Raitt, Belly, Wynonna Judd, Title Fight, and Over the Rhine. Kim has mastered seven Grammy® nominated recordings. One winning in the Best Folk Album category as well as two nominations in the Best Engineered Album/Non-Classical category.

       Scott Baldner

      Scott Baldner, Director of Operations/Senior Producer, Post House Creative

       

      Scott Baldner is an award winning editor/producer/writer working in the Central Ohio market for the past 15 years. Scott has worked in most roles in post-production & production throughout his career and now serves as Director of Operations and Senior Producer at Post House Creative. Scott has been fortunate enough to travel extensively for projects, domestically and internationally, and work with some of the biggest names in sports, fashion, travel, and business throughout his career. Scott has won multiple Emmys, Silver & Gold Tellys, & Addy’s for local, regional, and national clients.
