Biography
Ashley Arrington is Director of the Law Library and Professor of Legal Research & Writing at Capital University Law School. Before joining Capital, she served in law library leadership and instructional roles at Texas Tech University School of Law and the University of Houston Law Center. Professor Arrington is a former higher education attorney, having previously held legal and research administration positions at Arcadia University and Harvard University. She holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington, a J.D. from Texas A&M University, an LL.M. from Northeastern University, and an M.L.I.S. from the University of Washington. She earned a certificate in higher education teaching from Harvard University's Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Her research interests include higher and legal education, as well as pedagogical approaches to research and skills-based instruction.
