Biography
Professor Hall’s scholarship focuses on the relationship between judge-made private law and democratic law-making, including whether the reasonable person standard in tort law and also contract rules should better reflect the values of the people they govern. His research also examines access to justice and whether rules restricting attorney solicitation should be reformed to allow regulated outreach to individuals with unmet legal needs. Before joining Capital Law, Professor Hall practiced estate planning and real estate law as a solo practitioner and served as a Sharswood Fellow at Penn Law.
