Biography

Dr. Moore is a Professor in Capital's Business Program. Her areas of expertise include Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and Human Resource Management. She is passionate about helping students understand how human behavior affects and is affected by organizations, while helping them develop their skills as future managers and leaders. She particularly enjoys advising students outside of the classroom on their academic and career pursuits, and is the 2008 recipient of the Capital University Cotterman Award for Outstanding Advising.

Her current scholarship is focused on capturing leader perceptions of the Central Ohio business climate. She works in partnership with Columbus CEO magazine to conduct and report on the results of the Central Ohio CEO Survey, an annual poll of Central Ohio organizational executives. This survey identifies local CEO expectations for the economy, contemporary organizational challenges, and perspectives on leadership. She has also published and presented research on strategies for assessing learning in business programs, workaholism, and the impact of individual differences on self-managed teams.
