Instrumental Emphasis

The Master of Music in Music Education program at Capital University offers three areas of emphasis: Choral, Instrumental, and Jazz Pedagogy. The Instrumental emphasis is focused on training music educators to grow their teaching skill and performance techniques, which rewards you personally and professionally. The program is designed specifically for working music teachers who have the flexibility to participate in classes during the summer months. During a few short weeks over three summers, you’ll join other educators in classes, workshops, and performances where you’ll be challenged to think and lead in new ways.. Graduates will be well-versed in the latest music theories and applied practical experiences, allowing you to incorporate what you learn in the summer to your classes in the fall.
